I've been working on some different faces for a new character. I keep coming back to one that has been previously posted. But she continues to evolve. And I do need more women for other characters, so here's some of the work in progress sketches.

Here are two of the Sucker Punch girls. I saw this movie when it came out in theaters. I loved the visuals and special effects from the movie. I plan to complete more illustrations of the other girls shortly.

Happy Jack

This was promotional artist trading card I made for a submission. It's of their company mascot know as the Happy Jack Girl.

Hack/Slach

Hack/Slash is a comic published by Devils Due Publishing The main character is Cassie Hack, her companion is Vlad. They go around hunting serial killers and slashers. It's a fun book to read, the artwork on the series changes from artist to artist. These are some of the personal Artist Trading Cards I have done about the series. The Image of Vlad isn't finshed (obviously), but though I'd show the inked linework.

Bad Me...

I'm way overdue for an update, and have lots to Blog about. So here i am... Okay On November 7th my friend Jeff, David and myself went down to Arlington Texas for the Wizard World Texas Convention. It was a complete blast. We hung out with a local Texas artist and all around great guy Joe Eisma (be sure to check out his site). I got to meet a few Suicide Girls. I got to meet my favorite comic book artist, Josh Howard, of course I got him to sign some of his books. I could do multiple post's about the weekend and all the cool things I saw, the Swag I picked up, the awesome people I got meet. Here are some Pics...

Super Secret Project

It's no secret that I'm working on my own comic book. I've been playing around with the idea and concept art for a few years. Yeah, years....but now I have decided to go ahead and complete it. So with some encouragement from my friends and lots of patience from myself. I am moving forward with the "Super Secret Project" I will post updates and artwork here as I go. For now I'm just posting some images I've drawn recently...they may be from some of my comic book pages... or not. OK more than likely they are, since that's primarily what I've been working on lately...that and the Horror Icons Artist Trading Cards. (I've got a few more I want to complete before Halloween)

It's only a dream!

Freddy Krueger from "A Nightmare on Elm Street" You hope it's only a dream. This series started out when I was a teenager. Freddy was scary, or the idea of Freddy was scary, I'm not sure which. I just remember the one dream I had with him in it. I fell asleep in front of the TV while Nightmare 3 (Dram Warriors) was on. So I heard what was on the TV while I was sleeping and it affected the dream. Now some 20 + years latter, I can still remember the dream...DAMN! Well obviously I didn't die...so it is only a dream.....whew. You think Robert Englund (the guy who played Freddy) had crazy dreams from playing him? Obviously Freddy Krueger is my all time favorite creepy scary bad guy. So here he is.

Yes, the card was created by the usual process...I think I'm just gonna stop posting the process, unless I actually do something different.

"Chi Chi Chi - Ah Ah Ah"

Jason Voorhees from the "Friday the 13th" Movies. I don't know why that noise was always in the background when he was around. But lemme tell ya. If I was out in the woods, and heard that sound...yep, I'd probably leave a puddle as I ran off screaming....ok not really I'm not that much of a coward... But Yeah, I'd run, I'd put a hole in the wall from running through it. Who wasn't a little scared by the Friday the 13th movies. I remember watching some of these at my friends house with some girls.....Heck yeah, we got to snuggle up with them before the movie was over. That was the best part of watching scary movies with the girls.

Happy Halloween

Micheal Meyers from the "Halloween" movies. Yeah I can't remember him ever speaking or making a noise for that matter, so we get Happy Halloween for the title. This guy gave me the creeps as a child. Ok, be honest, if you saw a guy walking down the street with this mask on, you'd run. I'm not gonna lie... I would.
